The Homespun Story 2009 - Present
The Homespun Craft and Christmas Fair was started in 2009 in an effort to help assist the Good News Rescue Mission in Redding, Ca gather toys for local families and children in need. The craft and Christmas fair was only intended to be a one time event, but due to the overwhelming desire and support of our vendors and community to keep it going it became an annual event. The focus of this event is not to only provide a great vending and Christmas experience, but to demonstrate the love of God to the local community with the talents, treasure and time God has given us. We now assist "Toys From the Heart" in gathering Christmas presents for children and adults, provide Christmas trees to families in need, and help provide scholarship monies for local youth after school and sport programs.
